Ritmo Terms of Use

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Elena Gukasova (“we”, “us”) about the Ritmo: Daily Devotional app (“Ritmo”). By using the app you accept them. These terms work together with Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”); if the two differ on a point, Apple’s applies to that point.

1. What Ritmo is

Ritmo is a daily practice of Bible reading: a short morning word, a midday pause and an evening reading that moves a chosen “path” forward. It is for personal reflection. It is not medical care, therapy, pastoral counselling or an emergency service. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact local emergency services or a help line (the app lists some under Settings).

2. Using the app

3. Your account and your writing

An anonymous account is created automatically. Signing in with Apple is optional. What you write in the journal stays on your phone and belongs to you. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled and how to delete everything.

4. Ritmo Premium subscription

5. Content

The readings, reflections, questions and pictures in Ritmo are made by us and protected by copyright. Scripture quotations are from the Berean Standard Bible (public domain). The texts are meant for reflection and are not a substitute for your own reading, your church or professional advice.

6. Availability

We work to keep the app running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or remove features, including paths. If we remove something you paid for, we will treat it fairly under Apple’s rules.

7. Disclaimers and limits

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the app in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Ritmo at any time and delete your account in the app (Settings → Privacy & data). We may suspend access if someone seriously misuses the app.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Ritmo after a change means you accept it.
